Single-phase parallel constant power electric heating cables
The power busbar of the parallel constant power electric heating cable is two/three parallel insulated copper wires.
The heating wire is wound on the inner insulation layer, and the heating wire is connected to the busbar at a certain distance (i.e. “heating section length”) to form a continuous parallel resistor.
After the busbar is energized, each parallel resistor heats up, thus forming a continuous heating cable.
Three-phase parallel constant power electric heating cables
The principles of single-phase constant power and three-phase constant power electric heating cables are basically the same. The difference is:
Single-phase uses single-phase power supply, and three-phase uses three-phase triangle power supply.
In addition to the characteristics of single-phase electric heating tape, the maximum allowable length of the three-phase electric heating tape is three times that of the single-phase electric heating tape.
In the case of large-scale application of electric heating tape, it can balance the load of the power grid.
The three-phase constant power electric heating tape uses three core wires, which makes the electric heating tape flatter, reduces the surface heating load, increases the heat conduction area to the pipeline, and improves the heat transfer efficiency.
